This is a ceramic candle that I brought back from the dead! It had chips and faded paint on it. I loved the look, but I think a sun should be brighter haha. I used Masters Touch in Antique Gold, FolkArt Gold, and Liquitex Acrylic Ink in Raw Umber. I love this! What do you think?</p>

Hello Everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First I want to thank you all for your comments, they really make me happy:)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ok, so tonight, I remembered my little brother is turning 17 in this coming week, so I got to work on a card for him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My brother and my Dad both LOVE Dallas Cowboys! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I decided because it's FINALLY football season, and the Cowboys kicked off to a great start this year, Why not make him a Cowboy's Card?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card is 6x6 black cardstock with white, silver, and navy scraps on it. Here is the original layout I went with:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRDGfRRJ5FK6pX_AF07YAmahZEs25Z9sbGntr3F0f6AP-cfmQ5uidDxdJ75mRRG0-evFlh8bBqN1TtYoGrbMAKzrEEttSUHey4Nmi_mGH7knOvvXoAzsNXRhfsUrYaYLsJN6zWYPSigiLD/s1600/009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRDGfRRJ5FK6pX_AF07YAmahZEs25Z9sbGntr3F0f6AP-cfmQ5uidDxdJ75mRRG0-evFlh8bBqN1TtYoGrbMAKzrEEttSUHey4Nmi_mGH7knOvvXoAzsNXRhfsUrYaYLsJN6zWYPSigiLD/s320/009.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This ribbon flower was my first attempt at making them. I think it came out alright for the first time, and I see myself making LOTS of these in the near future!<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
On this strip of silver scrap, I embossed 3 different Happy Birthday sentiments.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This card was really basic. Something I pulled together really fast. But overall, I do love the outcome. What do you think?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Fisrt, I used Modeling paste and a 2 bird stencils.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After the paste dried, I used Liquitex Acrylic Ink in Phthalocyanine Blue on the bird on the right, and colored its belly with Permanant Red Master's Touch Acrylic Paint, and it's beak with Flesh. On the bird on the left, I painted Persian Red, and the belly Sky Blue. The beak is painted Flesh. The color of the leaves is Lime Sorbet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFh-4EYliAAAQK4n4oTlp7hrdIYVTo9Z_myjIst56fQO_PYXhxmZmwLU9DavQ7APFGvOinrnw87bCb_b8x0wZO_HDE6H3_NjM2MJQlqdIcRH4Et454gKWZgH4u2S9XuvX-SMjHuHXTOGke/s1600/048.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFh-4EYliAAAQK4n4oTlp7hrdIYVTo9Z_myjIst56fQO_PYXhxmZmwLU9DavQ7APFGvOinrnw87bCb_b8x0wZO_HDE6H3_NjM2MJQlqdIcRH4Et454gKWZgH4u2S9XuvX-SMjHuHXTOGke/s320/048.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Above the birds, I put a little white heart from my stash:)</div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next, I painted the background Ocean Green. I used a stencil and traced the clouds from a book page, and cut the out, distressed the edges with Black Soot, and modpodged them down.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I doodled on the inside and outside of the cloud using a white and black pen.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPPrXsIHKSi7uafsHue8z1NNRVx1iyQBkzJe2rLoYHlpAZ5XH-XbqmJUuaQbuh9pQ3AR6-itfUER15WGNeSd5ZtYaYWKpb40bZoSg_NrPdRJK510lCylIHBCtLKUl3DVUoFe0VITHVqM0R/s1600/047.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPPrXsIHKSi7uafsHue8z1NNRVx1iyQBkzJe2rLoYHlpAZ5XH-XbqmJUuaQbuh9pQ3AR6-itfUER15WGNeSd5ZtYaYWKpb40bZoSg_NrPdRJK510lCylIHBCtLKUl3DVUoFe0VITHVqM0R/s320/047.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

Hey!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today I want to share a canvas that I did a little while back.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To start out, I covered my canvas in 7Gypsies 6x6 paper, from the Paddington paper pack.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next, I painted on a border with FolkArt, the color Aqua.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now, I went to the Cricut, and cut out <em>Imagine </em>using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHE5MO-3uoD8QPVUn9YEbTuBaN-xj9rPBrMsrB1V-KhtzNTBW0wAa6ODMVt60eN-eK8F6SNUltWIyjZrZHHJMPKLyI_RMl05VicBDzU_U0qnJZgX2L1SD9LzBPADDPiE7Tz7V4odUwmnlZ/s1600/063.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHE5MO-3uoD8QPVUn9YEbTuBaN-xj9rPBrMsrB1V-KhtzNTBW0wAa6ODMVt60eN-eK8F6SNUltWIyjZrZHHJMPKLyI_RMl05VicBDzU_U0qnJZgX2L1SD9LzBPADDPiE7Tz7V4odUwmnlZ/s320/063.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, I used the Cuttlebug. I inked the inside of the folder with Colorbox Cat's eye's in Magenta, then used the Cuttlebug like you normally would.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I modpodged all the letters on, and then I painted the rest of the background with the same blue, leaving the area areound the letters blank. Then I came in with Master's Touch Acrylic in Perminant Red, and lightly washed over the area behind the letters, so that you can still see the papers underneath.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjxnFLULATppDgxkDfqEuRiG92e1nSgzfr34AEk-YAJhCkuNhCQ69y41zascBBhUafT6IaW1ACQNhuhi-3fS7uIXEzPmsJIz8UJ5jKLhYLYYrK3i2Ma8qrNxPdNCG8FZdOg4tRrq3ZQFT1/s1600/064.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjxnFLULATppDgxkDfqEuRiG92e1nSgzfr34AEk-YAJhCkuNhCQ69y41zascBBhUafT6IaW1ACQNhuhi-3fS7uIXEzPmsJIz8UJ5jKLhYLYYrK3i2Ma8qrNxPdNCG8FZdOg4tRrq3ZQFT1/s320/064.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now, I took a stencil and randomly stenciled on some gesso to give the canvas more texture.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also used some bubble wrap and Master's Touch Permanant Black acrylic to make the black circles:)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_6PUBDsiq-0HoYouwSmvmjUQwix9oaptfvQB2d2dZswoqcJuFZebpD0S8KxjsK6MBZNioTBUN-WgrDEwxz3R3-aAqWXgW_R-3DvKyZR_4Z0JTc6KbiolRdrOD3VnrpawsIZhaLnbnfJ2K/s1600/068.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_6PUBDsiq-0HoYouwSmvmjUQwix9oaptfvQB2d2dZswoqcJuFZebpD0S8KxjsK6MBZNioTBUN-WgrDEwxz3R3-aAqWXgW_R-3DvKyZR_4Z0JTc6KbiolRdrOD3VnrpawsIZhaLnbnfJ2K/s320/068.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And now, for the last step. I found that my letters faded a little into the background so I went aroung them with white ink, not neatly, of course! And then I used my black paint to make the letters 'POP' out at you.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
To start, I covered the page with book text, and washed Ocean Green over the whole page.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I took little strips of a tag I had stamped on and made stems for flowers.</div>

<br /></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
Last night, I sat down and began working on a new 11x14 canvas, that I named Butterfly Bliss.<br />
<br />
The first thing I did was put down some scraps from the blue paper bin. <br />
Next, I painted a border on using Master's Touch Acrylic in Ocean Green.<br />
I used a cloud stencil and modeling paste to make the clouds.<br />
Then, I took a stencil and misted on some teal, black, and red. <br />
Some of the butterflies are Bo-bunny rubons.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV4-FMQNyQBRueXCnZKIyTFW-JUYLsVq_eosX3YDKHz07uMEkUdEV3pALq-v-berlkM_7OMjtLMfKhpF6ZLN2jgAm0FqBMGMV9knwXR9rd124ehOK2n7lRaNA6O-4oHHg3-_D6DdBEgkA-/s320/311.jpg" width="320" /></div>
Now, I took the bliss embellishment and sprayed it with some red mists, and distressed the outside of it with Vintage Photo.<br />
I added the butterfly and the white flower on the embellishment, both by K&Company.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRf8szGUOjkd6QuUh-1bZZfRz0sFZWQfyKxnOB8r9DW-HbLR4_BCXqlz4q-fcP5wJlyjEGv2_H-AhaLLFObVUhLwg62U6iZ2LI8jyHkZ_mZw7I-WvnskH9JaWYjSAbuQ2lhxA2dcW0oWTU/s1600/296.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRf8szGUOjkd6QuUh-1bZZfRz0sFZWQfyKxnOB8r9DW-HbLR4_BCXqlz4q-fcP5wJlyjEGv2_H-AhaLLFObVUhLwg62U6iZ2LI8jyHkZ_mZw7I-WvnskH9JaWYjSAbuQ2lhxA2dcW0oWTU/s320/296.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, I wrote this quote by Nathaniel Hawthorne on card stock, cut it out and adhered it to the canvas.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf76bOXmpA8MdXF6OFbgzxoLRDQvfkhs3j6GaN9LgJaGrndlMO7uehwO4paeXimesWj5rPvUHCmlJha7Nz9IOFCjzos8O99Fzmrdo-cSFG6eu9p0vi26sHvd_RutzN8qeKccChkRjGr9lR/s1600/298.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf76bOXmpA8MdXF6OFbgzxoLRDQvfkhs3j6GaN9LgJaGrndlMO7uehwO4paeXimesWj5rPvUHCmlJha7Nz9IOFCjzos8O99Fzmrdo-cSFG6eu9p0vi26sHvd_RutzN8qeKccChkRjGr9lR/s320/298.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This guy here is from K&Company. It was origanally a cream color, but I used my distress inks, Victorian Velvet and Peeled Paint.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWC1QIbK64177qmNrLJFAGUYSd5OHf_2d58c3dZ8tkHuk4YaAT8VDaXpsYdJcbi4SJh8u3FM6Ql-vZP-Ya5V81-vdZuhzwG1gmcZS93G9A49Dh0S2yTeYngqRJRi3EIuPSJ25HzYdYVcCq/s1600/301.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWC1QIbK64177qmNrLJFAGUYSd5OHf_2d58c3dZ8tkHuk4YaAT8VDaXpsYdJcbi4SJh8u3FM6Ql-vZP-Ya5V81-vdZuhzwG1gmcZS93G9A49Dh0S2yTeYngqRJRi3EIuPSJ25HzYdYVcCq/s320/301.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Look at the bling I added to the wings! I also added bling to some other butterflys.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3AVyY-N0OXXePy776Z1qO6smj0wvRWrE06avLc1mvdk2n83yLo6871t-Rof6_SFbEPa4M_8PURtqfFx_hCnfk6q-D5Y8g890sgjcuKn4edxX8d6KPtR7bEASaWfGcpGE8OgNahJYZjjwY/s1600/304.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3AVyY-N0OXXePy776Z1qO6smj0wvRWrE06avLc1mvdk2n83yLo6871t-Rof6_SFbEPa4M_8PURtqfFx_hCnfk6q-D5Y8g890sgjcuKn4edxX8d6KPtR7bEASaWfGcpGE8OgNahJYZjjwY/s320/304.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And last, below "Bliss", I added a white lace ribbon, and a blue bow on top of it :)</div>

<br />
I had a lot of fun with this canvas, and I tried not to be too serious about it, I just wanted to enjoy it!<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by, and HAPPY WEDNESDAY! <br />

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So, it's been a little while since I last posted something, but I finally have a project to post for you!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is a little 6x6 canvas. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the background colors, I used Master's Touch Acrylic Paint in the colors Persian Red, and Flesh.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The circles are made from Liquitex Modeling Paste.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjNk7-DXMlRIQVg6SQpARBUjjtcxzzJ_M8iJN9EWdhZ5ArtutBKCeAaX6xRxaPCwezvgwFz2f_o-Dfv1kz75AuP5O-_pJDYa7CZGZ-NaALYax-dzL8XSyR6vYOPrfot_MaaXMV4lRkNy7M/s1600/ltl.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjNk7-DXMlRIQVg6SQpARBUjjtcxzzJ_M8iJN9EWdhZ5ArtutBKCeAaX6xRxaPCwezvgwFz2f_o-Dfv1kz75AuP5O-_pJDYa7CZGZ-NaALYax-dzL8XSyR6vYOPrfot_MaaXMV4lRkNy7M/s320/ltl.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next, I inked the paste and the edges of my canvas with blue ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I mod-podged a piece of scrap paper from my stash.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also doodled the flourish in the right corner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I highlighted the corners of the canvas with silver ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk7QjwsZE2CJQYYZO76_-kfzOqsTGhtJt5601atIUkBK_T79I3pENXlQ5RFgJEPIq4TIrZCj_zqLT0m-mr4uPHVGoWR_7jhPHMvC8ndWQmfakEiJo89GqjHif9EwENXBFgDazboJ7ieUuZ/s1600/ltl2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk7QjwsZE2CJQYYZO76_-kfzOqsTGhtJt5601atIUkBK_T79I3pENXlQ5RFgJEPIq4TIrZCj_zqLT0m-mr4uPHVGoWR_7jhPHMvC8ndWQmfakEiJo89GqjHif9EwENXBFgDazboJ7ieUuZ/s320/ltl2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next, I stamped a stamp by Tim Holtz on a piece of cream colored card stock, cut around it, and distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in Tea Dye. Then I adhered it to the canvas.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ6fZ-FQwK1rMjf3P32prHOcGQNX0hf78HKxp-EJezKA7zS7p_eLA6X-lJP95FEj8Lgse0HEIJEZg7OHZKqOJzmqFdByUQAOhWabapuLZlwfl_xmjkZ6mT7txz7G1s2LSHBE_0ZugxgP_J/s1600/ltl1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ6fZ-FQwK1rMjf3P32prHOcGQNX0hf78HKxp-EJezKA7zS7p_eLA6X-lJP95FEj8Lgse0HEIJEZg7OHZKqOJzmqFdByUQAOhWabapuLZlwfl_xmjkZ6mT7txz7G1s2LSHBE_0ZugxgP_J/s320/ltl1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, I added some of my Prima Flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I misted them with a mist a made using FolkArt Metallic in Antique Copper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And of course, I distressed the flowers, too, with Tea Dye.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaEnHFA6XENetnPLb4Fx8GIu5H-t8uAn8f7mdvvY_VaUVHteY6CYz8N5gdPSM-uEpYTUxWjdPj44M3bORPYs_z7TW_ACgV1SNakgrk3fYgCAyYBujz8ktFEIATKqR58qAkPKQHB6X9p6We/s1600/ltl3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaEnHFA6XENetnPLb4Fx8GIu5H-t8uAn8f7mdvvY_VaUVHteY6CYz8N5gdPSM-uEpYTUxWjdPj44M3bORPYs_z7TW_ACgV1SNakgrk3fYgCAyYBujz8ktFEIATKqR58qAkPKQHB6X9p6We/s320/ltl3.jpg" width="320" /></a> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And for the finishing touches! In the middle of the Prima flowers, I added little dots of modeling paste, to give the flowers more texture.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had lots of fun doing this little canvas, and I hope I inspired you!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by!</div>

Today was a busy Sunday! We got up early and took our little one to the zoo for the first time! He absolutely loved it, but it was sooo HOT!</div>
<div align="center">
Tonight, my husband and I had some fun painting with the new goodies we got:D</div>
<div align="center">
I made this 6x6 canvas:</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP4pWBvzTW5mnkykhKCvHWBOqdjzuaoVCsoCqJMnlDzhxW61goMDboWjlzln48YuJAV3w9PHgFngTNuz6yvrzdkSGkFs2mcRHwOiW0Po5VXSIc3yEtErHQstFI34IWUVR4hehTwekgD7Hp/s1600/beautyy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiP4pWBvzTW5mnkykhKCvHWBOqdjzuaoVCsoCqJMnlDzhxW61goMDboWjlzln48YuJAV3w9PHgFngTNuz6yvrzdkSGkFs2mcRHwOiW0Po5VXSIc3yEtErHQstFI34IWUVR4hehTwekgD7Hp/s320/beautyy.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used modeling paste on this one. I wanted lots of texture!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started the canvas with the compass design (stencil) and modeling paste, and I put 3 or 3 different ones. Next, I added a couple pieces of newspaper for the tissue paper effect (below bird). Then I threw oodles of blue and white paint:) The red dots are also done by paint and stencil. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicQbWa26JiEp3oI7CWYcTgqiecvswe8w6dItm9X5gXVB7aFq1LdURevvxmrT0-NCVvIre60Q0bmaQ-JpqDA9VENJ14iPOlvewDqGArUAuW2g4VB96X2Gmt4OK7qIsLpeXNtI3c0xRXSszz/s1600/bbb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicQbWa26JiEp3oI7CWYcTgqiecvswe8w6dItm9X5gXVB7aFq1LdURevvxmrT0-NCVvIre60Q0bmaQ-JpqDA9VENJ14iPOlvewDqGArUAuW2g4VB96X2Gmt4OK7qIsLpeXNtI3c0xRXSszz/s320/bbb.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wasn't too sure of what to do next, so I put a Smash tape border on the bottow, and layered a ribbon on top on it. Once again, I came up blank. SUPRISE! I pulled out a doille, and mod podged it on there. Then, I found this little felt bird iron-on I bought on clearance. Now, it needed a little words. So I stamped 'CreatiVe' and 'Bliss' On a sheet of white cardstock, cut them out, distressed and adhered them. And then came the awesome Paper Studios flower. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-size: x-large;">What an AWESOME way to spend my Sunday!!!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #3d85c6;">How was <em>your</em></span><span style="color: #3d85c6;"> weekend?</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It's been a little bit since I posted anything, I somehow lost the battery to my camera!</div>
<div align="center">
I have been working on my art journal. I started this page, but I never finished it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFkdHtlEbAAR-CDLAcx29oO9_7Oy_bjnaIS5XN2b2nGSQY6FIOhy1GVkAsUPd4sg3xt3IPPEXMqxEWA3mE35OB1ZiKa_DR3kMuvBwxUOe1YPIYFKfSrw5G45ZKJ6R2LIwzMMIh9GmSCLuN/s1600/IMG_9107.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFkdHtlEbAAR-CDLAcx29oO9_7Oy_bjnaIS5XN2b2nGSQY6FIOhy1GVkAsUPd4sg3xt3IPPEXMqxEWA3mE35OB1ZiKa_DR3kMuvBwxUOe1YPIYFKfSrw5G45ZKJ6R2LIwzMMIh9GmSCLuN/s320/IMG_9107.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
I tried to do something pink and girly.</div>
<div align="center">
Which would explain why I have a block on this one...haha</div>
<div align="center">
I am also working on another journal page that I'm really liking. It reminds me of my home state, Florida. I have another journal page finished, that I'm not so sure how I feel about it, but the quote on it means so much to me. </div>
<div align="center">
I'll post my completed project when I find my camera battery, and when I actually get around to finishing it, haha.</div>
<div align="center">
If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate them!</div>
<div align="center">
Have a great day, and thank-you for stopping by!</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hql2PZf3zx0/T70kE1zrRNI/AAAAAAAAAEo/cBS7oJi47Xk/s1600/36+weeks.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hql2PZf3zx0/T70kE1zrRNI/AAAAAAAAAEo/cBS7oJi47Xk/s320/36+weeks.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
At 36 weeks pregnant, I was HUGE! I was soooo ready to get little Adrian out of my belly and into my arms! I missed looking down and seeing my feet, and I missed laying on my stomache. </div>
<div align="center">
A week after this picture was taken, I went into labor, and was sooo excited to meet my Adrian for the first time!</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s2JM_cQn9dA/T70kV-gnukI/AAAAAAAAAEw/zjTyzF02txo/s1600/adrian+first+pic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s2JM_cQn9dA/T70kV-gnukI/AAAAAAAAAEw/zjTyzF02txo/s320/adrian+first+pic.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After 16 hours of labor, and one left-sided epidural later, Adrian was born into this world. It was 9:56 PM. He was born 7 lbs, 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. When they put him in my arms for the first time, it was like the world around me stopped turning. The nurses were speaking to me and I heard nothing! All I could do was stare into those big brown eyes, and instantly, I fell in love!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is Adrian at one month old. He loved to open his eyes wide! He already had great control of his head and neck, and he could see more clearly than most babies his age!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Not too sure how I feel about this one...<br />
I painted the backround and stamped some music notes on the right side. <br />
On the left, I added a brown piece of scrap paper after I inked the edges. On top of it, I added another piece of scrap paper, stamped on the quote, and dry embossed the paper. I went over the embossed text on it with brown ink. And of course I had to draw on it with charcoal when I finished!</div>KaitlynnDominguezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04138435369874284060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7838060684999397433.post-34730454095175528762012-05-22T00:59:00.000-05:002012-05-22T00:59:08.460-05:00"Love"<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;">This past Sunday, I started an Art Journal, and this is my first entry! </span></div>
<div align="center">
<span style="font-size: large;">I started out by painting the page different shades of blue. Then, I stamped the diamonds on. I painted over the diamonds to give them a more uneven look. After that, I came up blank. So I sketched my husband's take on a heart. I painted the outside of it white, and filled in the red. I added some charcoal inside the heart to give it a more textured-look. I then streaked the blue with some red and black and a little white to tie the colors in together. Lastly, I added the two bottom strips of scrap paper, and I cut out the "Love" piece from a scrap paper, and dry embossed it to give the painting more texture. </span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">Tonight, I made a card for my husband. :) </span></div>
<div align="center">
<span style="font-size: large;">I really love the way it turned out. I used scraps, a ribbon, and the " I love you" is a sticker. On the top, I added stitching. </span></div>
<div align="center">
<span style="font-size: large;">It was a very simple card, and I like the layout.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">Hopefully, tomorrow I can start scrapbooking for the first time in almost a year! :D</span></div>KaitlynnDominguezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04138435369874284060noreply@blogger.com2
