Pretty and Pink (Unfinished Project)

It's been a little bit since I posted anything, I somehow lost the battery to my camera!
I have been working on my art journal. I started this page, but I never finished it.

I tried to do something pink and girly.
Which would explain why I have a block on this one...haha
I am also working on another journal page that I'm really liking. It reminds me of my home state, Florida. I have another journal page finished, that I'm not so sure how I feel about it, but the quote on it means so much to me.
I'll post my completed project when I find my camera battery, and when I actually get around to finishing it, haha.
If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate them!
Have a great day, and thank-you for stopping by!

My Sweet Adrian!

At 36 weeks pregnant, I was HUGE! I was soooo ready to get little Adrian out of my belly and into my arms! I missed looking down and seeing my feet, and I missed laying on my stomache.
A week after this picture was taken, I went into labor, and  was sooo excited to meet my Adrian for the first time!

After 16 hours of labor, and one left-sided epidural later, Adrian was born into this world. It was 9:56 PM. He was born 7 lbs, 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. When they put him in my arms for the first time, it was like the world around me stopped turning. The nurses were speaking to me and I heard nothing! All I could do was stare into those big brown eyes, and instantly, I fell in love!

This is Adrian at one month old. He loved to open his eyes wide! He already had great control of his head and neck, and he could see more clearly than most babies his age!
This was shortly after we moved to Texas. Adrian was only 3 months old, and he was always smiling!
Five months old, outside with his Baby Einstein jumper.

First time in the pool, 5 months old

This was at about 7 months when he started to crawl.

Adrian was only nine months when he started walking!

This is Adrian at 11 months. He had his Elmo PJ's on. He loves Elmo!

At only 13 months old, he was turning on the charm! Watch out, ladies!

This is my little boy now. He is huge! He will be 16 months soon, and he is already talking and running all over the place!

"Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life."

Not too sure how I feel about this one...
I painted the backround and stamped some music notes on the right side.
On the left, I added a brown piece of scrap paper after I inked the edges. On top of it, I added another piece of scrap paper, stamped on the quote, and dry embossed the paper. I went over the embossed text on it with brown ink. And of course I had to draw on it with charcoal when I finished!

"Love"

This past Sunday, I started an Art Journal, and this is my first entry!
I started out by painting the page different shades of blue. Then, I stamped the diamonds on. I painted over the diamonds to give them a more uneven look. After that, I came up blank. So I sketched my husband's take on a heart. I painted the outside of it white, and filled in the red. I added some charcoal inside the heart to give it a more textured-look. I then streaked the blue with some red and black and a little white to tie the colors in together. Lastly, I added the two bottom strips of scrap paper, and I cut out the "Love" piece from a scrap paper, and dry embossed it to give the painting more texture.

Just a Card

Tonight, I made a card for my husband. :)
I really love the way it turned out. I used scraps, a ribbon, and the " I love you" is a sticker. On the top, I added stitching.
It was a very simple card, and I like the layout.
Hopefully, tomorrow I can start scrapbooking for the first time in almost a year! :D
